What comes to mind when you see this image?
I saw some used matches by the fireplace the other day.
Some had fulfilled their purpose, maintaining their shape with a quick flick of the hand as red flames rose in the grate; others - burned out black curls.
Every match in that box had the potential to start the fire - but it only took one.
I felt this way after getting my work accepting into my first gallery - ArtisAnn in Belfast. All it took was one gallery to confirm I’m on the right path, wherever that path takes me.
