Dog with Rose the Second - Speed Edit

May 22, 2020

I’ve been meaning to get Rocky back in front of the camera for years. Our first composite together over five years ago was ‘Dog with Rose’. It is nowhere near perfect, but I love it so much and the truth is - we all have to start somewhere!

‘Dog with Rose’ from over five years ago. One of my first composites using Adobe Photoshop®. I know the image has it’s faults but it’s also an image full of heart.

Rocky is getting more grey by the day (like many of us in lockdown) so I thought a digital oil painting to print and hang on the wall would be something to cherish for years to come.

There are many automatic actions/plugins/software packages that can transform photos into paintings in seconds, but as usual, I like to go through the whole process myself as you’ll see in the behind the scenes video (Please remember to also subscribe to my Youtube Channel and click the little bell icon to receive a notification each time I post a new video).

Now I just have to pick the right paper or canvas to print it on.
