Silver Gelatin Prints

I have been working away in the darkroom with my film negatives developed in a range of low toxic chemistry - from herbs like rosemary and thyme to materials we can find in abundance like hedgerow plants, cleavers, coffee grinds and iron developer made from rusty nails.

The next progression of my research is making prints in the darkroom. The film negatives are of such high quality that I’ve been able to jump straight into printing with fine art, fibre-based paper.

I have some very exciting news to announce for 2026 which has been made possible with support from Cavan Arts Office and involves a residency at the Bristol Folkhouse Darkroom. So watch this space!

A small exclusive selection of my silver gelatin prints will be available for purchase from Bó Studios pop-up Gallery open Saturdays, 1-5pm in Dundalk and some other days too if you keep an eye on the Bó studios instagram page.
