Chlorophyll Print

A Chlorophyll Print made during a rare week of continuous sunshine in June 2025.

It can take up to 5 days to make a chlorophyll print in Ireland, depending on the quality of the sun and the leaf choice. I used a Laurel leaf.

Why it Matters

The image is printed on the leaf using the power of the sun passing through a ‘positive’ made of the image.

The positive can be reused. The image appreciated and then returned to the earth.
