Here’s Julie!
(and the redemption of Zoom)
Zoom for me, this week, redeemed itself. I’ve dumped my comedy virtual background and embraced the dressing of the wall behind me with an array of my gorgeous prints and props.
It was inevitable, I suppose, with all the judging and presentation opportunities over the next couple of months at home and abroad that my favourite virtual backdrop, the corridor of the Overlook Hotel in Kubrick’s adaptation of Stephen King’s, The Shining, had to go ( it doesn’t quite say ‘trust me with your club for the evening’).
So it’s been thrown out in the cold for a more mature backdrop and I’m not joking, it’s June and it’s freezing here in Ireland.
